Yearly project

In addition to projects completed in lesson modules, you will do a yearly project working as a team. This allows you to implement a project management methodology in a large-scale application.

Two stages are required for this project:

  • Analysis stage: developing a schedule, devolving a specification and design project...
  • Realisation stage: application development and test, application deployment, ...

Aims:

  • To develop a development language dealt with in class (C, C++, XML language, Web development...)
  • To implement a project management methodology in a large-scale application.
  • To do a technical study, a written report and oral presentation.

Organisation:

  • Projects are carried out in pairs
  • Each pair can chose their subject and be monitored by a tutor throughout the project (three follow-up meetings will be organised)
  • Project sessions are scheduled into the timetable. You must find other hours outside of the school's schedule.

Evaluation

  • Follow-up meetings
  • Handing over of intermediary documentation
  • Final report
  • Oral presentation before a jury

Subjects

  • All subjects must abide by the following instructions: application of techniques studied in the first year.
  • The aim of this project is to apply and develop basic project management notions and not to spend all your time on the technical part.
  • You are asked to submit three documents about how your project is progressing (specifications file, design file and test file).
