Green IT & IT for green is about reducing the harmful environmental impact of information systems through the use of virtualization techniques and Cloud Computing. It is also about using and developing IT systems to optimize products and processes according to their environmental footprint, notably through life-cycle analysis.
Associated skills: systems security, data-bases, virtualization, cloud computing, life-cycle analysis, decision-making, software-development optimisation, artificial intelligence.

The business engineer works closely with a sales team to analyse clients' technical needs and come up with sustainable solutions.
Associated skills: client-relation management, marketing, call for tender.
- e-security
Analysing and securing information flow in systems and networks.
