"In the final year of my A' levels I knew that I wanted to go to an engineering school, I thought the best way would be a preparation class since it allows you to join any establishment (you need to have a good ranking afterwards).  ). I took the MPSI class (Maths, Physics and Engineering Sciences) because I was interested in the subjects and they corresponded to my study project.  They were two intensive years but ones I don't regret.

The work is so substantial that you quickly learn how to organise yourself, how not to waste time and then the level for science is relatively high so engineering school isn't that much of a worry, you can spend more time on projects.

Once at Esaip, the level in computing is very interesting and experiences overseas are enriching and accessible thanks to the learning techniques and the practical vision of the language. I was also able to discover the corporate world.  While doing my 3rd and final year in Engineering I was able to do a Research Masters. I had a very busy timetable that year, but the academic team at Esaip did a lot for me to make life easier.  The lessons for the Masters were essentially scientific, but my training in the preparation class prepared me for it.  I

discovered "theoretic" computing and the fascinating world of research. So it was logical that my "Engineering" work placement was in research.  The year's assessment was more than good since I had my engineering qualification and I was ranked 2nd in the Masters, closely behind one of my friends from Esaip. I was hired at France Télécom R&D for 3 years to prepare my thesis.  I have the dual role of Esaip Engineer and artificial intelligence researcher; my prospects in company research are therefore interesting.
