When I finished my industrial data processing training certificate in Nantes there was work but there were too many barriers to getting promotion in the position in the long term. In computing you have to have a good mastery of English, something I didn't have after two years higher education after my A' levels. The advantage at ESAIP is that there is a wide range of courses and the work placements allow you to specialise depending on your centres of interest. My motivation is to learn! What's interesting about ESAIP is the international aspect of course and the teaching method that involves a lot of group work; we helped each other and learned a lot from one another. My worst memory is taking the TOEIC, I failed (less than 750 points) several times, largely because of stress but having the qualification is essential. You mustn't give up in these circumstances but keep on going. Today I work for a major telecoms client in Caen in their research and development laboratory. My job mainly involves technological supervision and reading documentation in English.
