I joined Esaip armed with an Electro-technical vocational training certificate. I have a peculiar lifestyle today since I alternate several weeks at sea on the coast of Africa, take a holiday when I return and do training or work at my office in Nanterre. I am a HSE consultant; I mainly do reporting but also risk management at work.  You need to know how to communicate, deal with people's sensitivity and be really persuasive to convince people who have been working on sites for a number of years to evolve their work methods.  In my opinion you need to go abroad when you've finished studying to make the most of not having any family ties because over the years, leaving becomes more risky and harder than simply packing your bags.
